Canadian Freakout Orchestra The History of Gunpowder bring their powerhouse band to Vienna at G5! DON'T MISS THE CHAOS, get your tickets now! This group is bringing violin, horns, synthesizers and blues vocals together in experimental, expansive arrangements to G5 Live Music Bar. Think Nick Cave, Radiohead, Tom Waits and Mars Volta had a child. Infamous in Canada, they are now gracing EU stages with their chaotic might. Shatterfly will be bringing their unique flavours to the stage to open the night! They have been tearing up Prague's scene, making a name for themselves! This line up is not to be missed!
The History of Gunpowder
Ask any sweaty, beaming fan as they exit a History of Gunpowder show and you will hear the same thing: “unforgettable”. The History is gritty, high energy and, quite honestly, chaotic. Somehow they walk the haywire between lush, expansive arrangements and growling blues vocals over danceable funk rhythms. A genuine 'Freakout Orchestra', their powerhouse horn section, violin, and pedal steel make every show a unique, electric sonic experience.
Shatterfly
The repertoire of exclusively original songs by Shatterfly is full of variety and creativity, making them the ambassadors of a new generation of rock from Vienna. Their audience loves the band for their live performances and shows it in every way possible. The band is particularly touched that fans from the very beginning can still be seen in the front row whenever they play. Shatterfly are proud that from show to show there are more hands reaching for the ceiling, more voices singing along, and more legs shaking.
